Service Experience:
- The service is primarily in Swedish, but everyone is made to feel welcome and included.
- Children are encouraged to participate in services, and there are special activities for them. Kids Club is available during the service, and children can also enjoy the play area in the church, the backyard playground, or the pool when it's open.
Parking:
- Street parking is available, but if you need assistance (such as for disabilities or if you're a single parent with children), you can call ahead to reserve a parking spot in the church parking lot. You can also call (310) 832 6800 when you arrive, and staff will assist you.
Service Locations:
- Services are held in several Southern California locations, including San Pedro, San Diego, Corona Del Mar, Thousand Oaks, and downtown LA. The specific times and dates for each city are available on the church calendar.
What to Wear:
- The church invites you to come as you are—no need to dress up formally.
Connection with Staff:
- The church office is located in San Pedro, but the staff is mobile and can meet you in various Southern California locations, including LA, Ventura, Orange County, San Diego, and beyond.
Staff Engagement:
- Church staff is actively involved in local Swedish organizations and events, such as SWEA, SACC-LA, the Swedish honorary consulate, Swedish schools, and VASA lodges across the region.

Har du en längtan efter att göra något meningsfullt? Vi söker alltid fler volontärer med olika typer av kompetens och intresseområden. Det finns en pysselgrupp som träffas och tillverkar saker för våra marknader. På fredagar träffas de som vill laga mat och baka till våra gudstjänster och andra event. Vår stöd och besöks grupp träffas en gång i månaden och är till för människor i behov and stöd. Kyrkvärdar, gudstjänstvärdar och event värdar är vi alltid i behöv av. vi behöver ochså hjälp med administration och utskick.
Vi är så tacksamma för all hjälp vi kan få. Hör gärna av dig till oss om du vill hjälpa till med något, stort som smått!
Volunteers wanted!
Do you have a longing to do something meaningful? We are always looking for more volonteers with different types of skills and areas of interest There is always a need of volunteers with different types of skills, and areas of interest. There is a crafts group that meets and makes things for our bazaars. On Fridays , we welcome all that want to help to bake for our church services and other events. Our Caring ministry support group meets once a month and are availbale for people in need of support. We are always in need of church hosts, event hosts, greeters and ushers, as well as people helping us with administrative tasks and mail outs.
We are so greatful for all the help we can get. Feel free to contact us if you want to help out with something, big or small.
